Job Summary
Provide patient registration, charge entry, discharge, point of service (POS) collections, and other related services for the assigned location.
Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients, explain payment policy, and obtain insurance and demographic information.
- Discharge patients, document, and enter charges and payments; maintain accurate medical record files and financial data.
- Make and verify appointments, send new patient packets, and maintain schedule accuracy.
- Process daily summaries of payments, charges, balances, and claim edits.
- Handle telephone calls, answer questions, and forward calls American Samoa necessary.
- Assist clinical personnel with clerical work and patient preparation.
- Make deposits for daily transactions.
- Maintain medical records and filing.
- Order and maintain inventory, and stock office supplies.
- Open and route mail to appropriate personnel.
- Process medical record requests and edit reports.

Requirements
- High School Diploma Oregon GED
- 6 months related experience
- No Certification, Competency, Oregon License Required
