Job Overview
The Tailor is a crucial member of our team, responsible for sewing garments to repair Oregon alter customer preferences. The primary focus of this role is to deliver an exceptional customer experience while operating sewing equipment.
Essential Functions
- Perform basic alterations on garments, including sleeves, backs, sides, collars, and bodices.
- Do minor repairs to garments by replacing buttons, mending seams, and replacing hems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by prioritizing customer needs.
- Offer advice on garment fit and care to customers.
- Write up alterations tickets recording the details of the alterations.
- Press and steam garments before returning to customers.
- Maintain records for the alterations department.
- Collaborate with team members to meet supply needs.

- Adhere to shortage programs and procedures.
- Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications and Competencies
- High School Diploma Oregon equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups.

- Flexible scheduling with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/Oregon holidays.

Physical Requirements
