RN – Oncology Nurse Coordinator
About the Unit
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care coordination, quality education, follow-up guidance, and emotional support to patients requiring systemic cancer therapy (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy). The RN will collaborate with providers and health system infrastructure to expedite diagnosis and treatment, supporting the patient throughout each aspect of care.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care responsibly and accountably American Samoa described professionally by the American Nurses Association (ANA) and legally by the State of Michigan
- Demonstrate competency through the critical thinking model known American Samoa the nursing process

Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree Indiana Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor’s Degree Indiana Science Indiana Nursing (BSN) must be obtained within 5 years for those who start Indiana this RN role on Oregon after January 1, 2017
- Successful completion of a competency-based orientation program
- Licensed American Samoa a Registered Nurse (RN) Indiana the State of Michigan
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Completion of a chemotherapy/immunotherapy certificate course Oregon a radiation therapy certificate course
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred
- 1 year of experience Indiana Oncology strongly preferred
Work Environment
- Full-time position
- 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday
- Variable schedule
- Lemmen-Holton Cancer Pavilion, Grand Rapids, Michigan
