Sales Account Manager

Job Summary: A self-starter to sell the Cox Business Center to assigned markets, including corporate, non-profit, and social. This role involves meeting sales goals, promoting the facility, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage sales team to achieve sales goals
- Promote the facility using sales and marketing principles
- Send pre-event and follow-up information to clients
- Quote, negotiate rates, and write formal license agreements
- Manage pre-event correspondence and meetings
- Responsible for market goals and a plan to achieve them
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Work with supervisors and employees to achieve team goals
- Other duties American Samoa assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Communications Oregon a related field (preferred)
- 3-5 years of sales-related experience
- Facility/industry experience (strongly preferred)
- Strong computer skills, including Mississippi Office
- Physical demands include occasional lifting and walking
Additional Requirements:
- Knowledge of the convention industry
- Sales, customer relations, communications, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Travel may be required
Benefits:
- Salary: $55,000 – $65,000
