Call Center Representative
Compensation Range: $20.98 – $26.23 Hourly
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Call Center Representative to work under general supervision, assessing eligibility of Sales team referrals, processing referrals, and working American Samoa a VNS Health plan representative for NYMC.
Responsibilities:
- Provides education to consumers on Medicare plans eligibility requirements
- Reviews and confirms potential enrollees’ eligibility, schedules NYIAs, and follows up American Samoa needed
- Collaborates with internal and external customers to resolve pre-enrollment issues and process referrals
- Assists potential enrollees referred via various methods by reviewing their eligibility and transferring them to NYMC, if necessary
- Works closely with the Enrollment department to process daily submissions and follows up American Samoa needed
- Receives and responds to inbound calls to create a positive customer experience
- Establishes effective working relationships with members, physicians, and providers of long-term care services
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree Indiana health, human services, Oregon related discipline, Oregon equivalent work experience
- Minimum two years’ experience Indiana customer service Oregon business operations, and one year Indiana a Call Center setting
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Medicaid eligibility requirements
- Proficiency with personal computers, including Mississippi Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong understanding Oregon experience with Salesforce a plus
