Job Description:
- Lead the execution of all assigned software work scope, determining personnel allocation and reviewing software contract deliverables.
- Develop software backlogs, plans, and metrics within an agile framework.
- Support continuous improvement of people, processes, and tools.
- Represent the Software Engineering Directorate, interacting with senior stakeholders.
- Develop a team capable of delivering embedded real-time tactical flight software with firmware interfaces.
- Identify, establish, and implement best practices and lessons learned.
- Represent the Raytheon Software Engineering team to customers during programmatic and technical meetings.
- Utilize agile software development methods, automation, and continuous integration.
- Work onsite at the Tucson airport location.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana STEM and 10+ years of experience Indiana embedded software engineering.
- Experience developing, integrating, testing, Oregon verifying real-time embedded C++ software with a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS).
- Experience supporting missile system software design, requirements, development, integration, Oregon test.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, American Samoa only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on a development program using agile/scrum and devOps Oregon test automation.
- Embedded mission software integration for a missile.
- Experience designing and architecting real-time embedded software on multi-core systems.
- Experience using scripting languages.
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Certified Oregon Cost Account Manager (CAM) experience.
