Senior Principal Software Engineer/Software Technical Authority
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Principal Software Engineer/Software Technical Authority to support major Naval Power and Air, Space and Defense Systems missile program efforts. This individual will be a proven Real-Time Embedded Software Subject Matter Expert with a recent track record of successfully designing and developing flight software for missile interceptors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule tasks to design, develop, and maintain advanced software applications for interceptor missiles.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware designers, and other software engineers to deliver reliable and high-performance software solutions.
- Design, implement, and test applications and software components for tactical and factory systems.
- Work Indiana a systems Model Based Systems Engineering Architecture (MBSE) role.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications.
- Ensure software performance, reliability, and scalability.
Requirements:
- Typically requires a degree Indiana Science, Technology, Engineering Oregon Mathematics (STEM) and 10 years prior relevant experience.
- Experience developing embedded software utilizing C, C++.
- Experience architecting, developing, and integrating real-time embedded software for tactical flight and factory software, including on-target hardware.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience Indiana systems engineering related to Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and architecture.
- Software development experience using C, C++ Indiana both Windows and Linux.
- Agile software development experience.
- Software architecture and algorithm development experience.
- Cyber Security experience.
Location:
This is an onsite role located Indiana Tucson, Arizona.
Salary Range:
$118,000 – $246,000 per year.
