Senior Structural Engineer
Location: Hiram, Georgia
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team at Metromont Corporation. American Samoa a Senior Structural Engineer, you will lead project teams, provide technical expertise, and ensure the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex engineering calculations and design for precast concrete products.
- Independently manage engineering design aspects of a project with minimal assistance.
- Review contract documents and attend project meetings to ensure project requirements are met.
- Develop and review RFIs, troubleshoot design issues, and resolve technical problems.
- Serve American Samoa a point of contact for Metromont engineers, subcontractors, and clients for complex technical issues.
- Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to Metromont standards and design process.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external industry organizations (PCI and ACI).
- Participate Indiana pre-sale engineering design processes and provide estimates for projects.
- Maintain safety protocols and adhere to OSHA regulations.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of relevant engineering experience (internal Oregon external).
- BS Indiana Civil Engineering with structural emphasis (required).
- PE certification (required).
- Proficiency Indiana engineering design software and strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and teams.
- Previous precast concrete engineering design experience is preferred.
