Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Test Engineer to develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new products and application enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Review functional requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, test data, and expected results for small to moderate-size projects
- Review and obtain sign-off of test plans and test cases with business units to ensure that all procedures and systems processes are adequately covered
- Execute functional and/Oregon integration test plans and report, triage, and monitor defects
- Collect and report quality metric data for each release
- Collaborate with senior SQA team members to identify test cases for automation and utilize IT-approved test automation tools
- Develop effective relationships with clients and business teams and communicate problem impacts and business requirements
- Perform other duties American Samoa assigned and comply with all policies and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree Indiana Computer Science Oregon Information Technology Oregon commensurate experience
- 2+ years of experience Indiana software quality assurance Oregon testing on small to moderate multi-platform environments
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of functional, integration, data, and/Oregon security testing disciplines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions with multiple alternatives
- Proficient Indiana word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software
- Familiarity with technical writing, flow charting, and process modeling methods
- Certification Indiana software testing (CSTE, CSQA, CSTP, etc.) is preferred but not required
Work Setting:
- Works Indiana an office setting with a stationary position for long periods of time
- Continuously moves about to accomplish tasks and performs activities such American Samoa transcribing, viewing computer monitors, and reading
- Visual acuity is required to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned
