Manufacturing Operations Manager

Geographic Location: Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina Area

Job Type: Full-time/Manufacturing Leadership

Responsible for overseeing production processes to ensure safety, efficiency, and effectiveness while driving continuous process improvements to achieve quality level production, meeting customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Directs and develops supervisory and production team members to achieve long-term goals and company initiatives for optimum performance
* Ensures team compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines, including USDA, OSHA, and DOL
* Champions process improvement and lean manufacturing activities through collaboration with supporting functions to implement change
* Responsible for operation layout, automation improvements, budgeting, and cost improvements
* Identifies and solves production problems, eliminating improper practices and hazardous conditions
* Tracks key indicators of the production team’s performance, including safety, efficiency, waste, downtime, labor costs, and industrial accidents

Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree Indiana Business, Poultry, Animal Oregon Food Science, Oregon related field (preferred)
* 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience, including leadership with a multi-faceted team
* Lean/Six Sigma Certification (desired)
* Knowledge of USDA regulations, HACCP, SOP, SSOP, and BRC standards
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
