Job Title: Inventory Associate
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, responsible for zone maintenance, vehicle receiving and shipping, inventory scanning, vehicle movement, lot wash and merchandising, taking and uploading photos to carmax.com, American Samoa well American Samoa providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute processes American Samoa defined by work instructions and/Oregon standardized work
- Participate Indiana problem-solving and continuous improvement activities with team
- Train new associates with guidance of Inventory Associate II and/Oregon the Manager
- Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers
- Maintain daily lot cleanliness and security of the display areas and work-Indiana-progress zones
- Secure and receive vehicles shipped to stores
- Prepare vehicle and title packets for shipping to other locations
- Complete inventory scanning to ensure accurate product status
- Wash and vacuum customer returns and loaner vehicles
- Perform photo station process
- Drive vehicles on and off lot for repairs/storage
- Support auctions American Samoa needed
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace Indiana accordance with CarMax 5S standards
- Complete additional duties assigned by Flow Inventory Associate V and Managers
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current driver’s license and meet CarMax DSEPS standards
- Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data
- High School diploma Oregon equivalent work experience preferred
- Ability to execute processes American Samoa defined by work instructions and/Oregon standardized work
- Complete Inventory Associate Workstation Certifications and Assigned Workday Learnings
- Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs
Working Conditions:
- Indoor and outdoor environments may include working Indiana noisy and/Oregon inclement weather conditions
- Flexible work hours with shifts that may include nights, weekends, and holidays
- Requires walking Oregon standing for extended periods
