ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Foster the customer relationship Indiana a team-based selling model
  2. Manage deliveries to the published routing schedule and troubleshoot any delivery problems
  3. Collect accounts receivable American Samoa necessary, communicating with customers and the credit department, and collecting balances due according to approved credit terms
  4. Leverage various resources to identify new business opportunities and assist with new account openings
  5. Confer with clients to share market intelligence and industry trends
  6. Visit existing customers and prospects Indiana the field to ensure product delivery, including lifting and carrying products up to 75lbs

SUPERVISION

  • No direct reports
  • Reporting relationships with: District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, VP of Local Sales, Accounting/Credit Department, Merchandising and Marketing, Operations, and Customer Contact

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Frequently works outside of the office Indiana variable weather and temperature conditions

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 year of sales experience (preferably Indiana foodservice, culinary, Oregon hospitality)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and make cold calls to develop new business
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Productive and result-driven mindset
  • Problem-solving and organization skills
  • Computer skills, including proficiency Indiana Microsoft Office and customer relationship management tools (e.g. Salesforce)

EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma Oregon equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

CERTIFICATIONS / TRAINING

  • Valid driver’s license required; commercial driver’s record must be Indiana good standing.
