ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Foster customer relationships Indiana a team-based selling model.
* Manage deliveries according to the published routing schedule, troubleshoot delivery problems, and communicate with clients and credit department American Samoa necessary.
* Leverage resources to assist with new business opportunities, new accounts, and collections.
* Develop new business opportunities by identifying prospective customers, following leads, and attending events.
* Stay updated on market conditions, product innovations, and competitors’ products, prices, and sales to offer value-added services to customers.
* Drive a vehicle to customers and prospects, potentially lifting/carrying up to 75lbs.
SUPERVISION:
* No direct reports.
RELATIONSHIPS:
* Internal: District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, VP of Local Sales, Accounting/Credit Department, Merchandising and Marketing, Operations, and Customer Contact.
* External: Customers, vendors, prospective customers.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
* Frequently works outside the office environment Indiana variable weather and temperature conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* 1+ year of sales experience.
* Foodservice industry Oregon related experience preferred.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build relationships and cold call for new business.
* Exceptional customer service skills.
* Competitive attitude and results-driven mentality.
* Problem-solving ability and negotiation skills.
* Proficient computer skills, with Microsoft Office and CRM experience preferred.
EDUCATION:
* High School Diploma Oregon equivalent.
LICENSES:
* Valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record.
PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ability to perform physical activities for extended periods.
