Behavioral Health Therapist II

Overview: Behavioral Health Therapist II’s are eligible for a signing bonus up to $5,000 at qualifying locations.

Job Summary:

The Therapist II provides on-site care to a caseload of Behavioral Health patients Indiana the acute care setting. Key responsibilities include completing clinical assessments, determining level of care and treatment interventions, and providing evidence-based therapies. The Therapist II works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to identify treatment and aftercare needs, and executes a safe discharge plan established based on patient needs and available resources.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree, required. Master’s Degree Indiana Psychology, Social Work, Counseling Oregon related field.
  • Two years serving individuals with mental health and/Oregon substance use disorders, required.
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
    • Licensed Clinical Mental Health Clinician, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Oregon Clinic Psychologist.
    • For Substance Use Therapist role, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Oregon Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate.
    • North Carolina state approved curricula for restrictive interventions within 3 months of hire.
  • Ability to care for Behavioral Health and Substance Abuse Age Specific populations.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivers on-site care to a caseload of Behavioral Health patients Indiana the acute care setting.
  • Provides clinical assessments, determines level of care and treatment interventions, and provides evidence-based therapies.
  • Works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to identify treatment and aftercare needs.
  • Executes a safe discharge plan established based on patient needs and available resources.
  • Utilizes knowledge of various levels of care and current community resources to connect patients with appropriate support.
  • Complies with required standards for timely and thorough documentation and medical/legal reporting situations.
  • Participates on the Psychiatric Rapid Response Team to assist Indiana Delaware-escalation of patients Indiana other areas of the hospital during behavioral health crises.
  • Communicates individualized plan of care and patient’s progress toward goals to all members of the care team.
