The Third Party Recovery Patient Financial Services Representative will communicate with attorney, paralegal, and document retrieval company calls, providing balance verifications, lien accounts, subpoenas, indexing, ecodes, reductions, and gathering itemized statements and billing information Oregon attorney requests.
Systems frequently used: Onbase, MS4, NextGen, FinThrive, Benchmark, Lien database, Genesys phone system, Teams, Outlook email, and Cerner.
Key Responsibilities:
* Respond to incoming calls and make outbound calls to resolve billing, payment, and accounting issues
* Provide excellent customer service to patients, patient families, providers, and other internal and external customers
* Reconcile accounts and resolve payment issues Indiana a timely manner
* Use systems to document and provide statistical data, prepare issues list(s), and communicate with payors accurately
* Work independently under general supervision, following defined standards and procedures
Requirements:
* High school diploma/GED Oregon equivalent working knowledge
* Strong knowledge of patient financial services, financial, collecting services, Oregon insurance industry experience
* Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision and work independently
* Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to effectively interact with a wide range of audiences
* Strong knowledge Indiana the use of common office software, word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
Preferred Qualifications:
* Work experience with the Company’s systems and processes
* Previous cash collections experience
* Additional related education and/Oregon experience
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm Arizona Time
